...n either of these are parking spots
The apartment complex has blacked out some old parking lines (so that people wouldn’t park there) and now more incredibly dumb people have now decided they should park there. That Versa is literally parked in the middle of the drive lane. The Fiesta is also in a non-spot. Together they’ve made the lane one car wide.
I swear some people just shouldn’t be allowed to drive.

To be fair there are a lot of parking lots with worn out lines that look that .
It would make more sense to paint yellow hashes over them if they didn’t want folks to park there.

One under appreciated benefit to a society with comprehensive mass transit: you can more readily revoke someone’s driving privileges for being a dumbass.

I mean, they painted them black, and they’re right in the middle of the drive...

T hat happens at our local library - the lot was sealed and completely re-striped in a different pattern but some folks used to the old layout just continue to park that way blocking traffic. I figure they are probably 104 years old and set in their ways but still...

I've fallen victim to the old pattern thing but never when they were blacked out. People. . .

My former office has some spaces that were painted with yellow hashes to keep an area open to provide easy access to the exit gate and the back part of the lot... so of course someone decided that was the best place to park the company merchandise trailer.
As you can see, they even put cones next to it to keep people from driving to drive by without considering that the reason people want to drive by is that you have to go all the way down to the end of that long row of parking to get out because some jerk parked a trailer in what is supposed to be a pass through.
